running away... #1

awh.. my feet hurts like hell. remember people. b4 u ever attempted any kind of running activities, pls make sure, u get urself a proper warming up. hihi.. i was so excited to go out this subuh, i forgot to do warm up. n now, i pay for it. all my muscles is now writhing in knotted pain, not to mention i got blisters in both my pinky toes. how i get blisters, its my brand new shoes.


it went something like this.


i woke up at around 5am. suddenly, i remember my new shoes n sweaters still somewhere in the shopping bag from last week. bugger. they were screaming for me to pick them up.. *sigh...* okay, i heard u. so i changed into my brand new outfit. muahahaha.. if u wanna do anything u think u might like, u might as well do it in style.. :-)

so there i was, brandishing my new sweater, my new running pants n my new shiny shoes. n not forgetting, the snow cap :P


the wind from the nearby sea is blowing ever so nicely as i snug comfortably in my thick hooded sweater. put on the hood, and off me go running into the twilight dawn... if u scroll n see the map i kindly googled from wikimapia, u'd see i started my run from the 'purple dot' straight up north.. until i reached the top most roundabout near the marina beach resort. from there, i took a turn down south till i reached the esplanade which was conveniently marked by the 'red lines'.


the esplanade part was nice. the wind was fierce a bit this morning, but i was already penat, my lungs felt like its gonna burst n my legs felt like it was glued on the ground... aww.. really penat.. cant really enjoy the wind when u are soaking sweat now can u? hehehehe.. that was my err.. fourth or fifth pit stop since i started running.. hihi.. ok2, i wasnt exactly running all the way, it was more like.. running, power walking, walking powerless, n slowly walking n running again.. hihi.. my first run is about 6-7km, and it took me about an hour. i know, its equivalent like snail trying to outrun a rabbit.. ahakz...


then, at the esplanade, i was just idling away, watching the orange sun making its appearance. it was a nice start. when u r that tired, ur mind tends to block away all things that been on ur mind, n it was a nice change for a start. it was pleasant stretching away n see the beautiful sea in front. all the things i love about this place. beautiful sea, nice n frienly people, modernization that never clouds ur perception about life, easy to make living, in short, i just love it here..

someone dear refer me to this one running mom blog. now i can see why one can become so addicted to running. cant wait for tomorrow morning.. see if i can run slightly faster than today. hehe... wait, im not addicted to this yet, am i?



btw, i used to run when i was still a student. bese la, masa skolah2 dulu, penah jadik so-called-athlete that played basketball.. (nah, im not really that good, im just blessed with being taller than my average comrades). so, masa kat oz dulu, during weekends, me n ilmik, n few guys, apek nijam, pakli n the rest of the guys went for the 3 on 3 at the nearby school park. (hmm.. ayu, ko penah join tak kitorang main basketball? apasal ko slalu ilang time nih ha.. hihi..)


ilmik n i used to have thi morning run during the winter. but we never run together lar. she's living at the residential while i was living at this suburb apartment. next time i google the map. now im kinda lazy. hehe.. it was nice running thru the streets during winter, as u burn the fats but, u dont stink that much.. :p

now, all i have to do, is finding time so that i can fit in running in my busy daily schedule..





miss u so damn much..

u kne soh org pijak kasut tuh ramai2.Upacara perasmian.Baru tak blister..hehehe

pls consider to buy a good sock too.Nike sock for running will do good.

hurmm..always think of pace while running.Tayah lari terlalu laju.Is better if u running in slower pace without stop then kejap run kejap stop kejap jln kaki.hehehe.

lastly,
Buy urself Gatorade from 7e.Baru la ala2 EPL beb.Beckham pon minum Gatorade tau.:P

energy drinks are loaded with sugar n carbs n caffein n heaps of chemical stuff. it defeat the purpose of me running. im not running for marathon here, but running to actually keep fit. so, i'd stick to banana n yogurt, n i wont go near any gatorade. if i got tired, i'd just stop.

but, for professional runner, of course u could chug gatorade as many as u wish..
