am i blogger non melayu?

hah! baru perasan.

am i blogger non melayu? darn.. i am melayu, at least almost 50%, but of course, if u strictly follows the malayan federal constitution by-definition, you could say, im non melayu..

which was rude btw. i always consider myself melayu. so what if i look slightly different. or even dress different or act really different from any other melayu? will that make me less melayu?

ok ok, wild imaginations aised pls..

lets look at one of my artwork..

urgh.. actually, i prepared three covers for lahanat jebat. one was blue black, one was grayish black and one is red black as above. originally, it didnt look like the one above. the one i created originally looks better actually. the font carried more weight, the writings look more prominent. and originally, i wanted to take out the 'red clouds' above but he insist that it looks nice. well, cant argue with the author.

the font actually need adjustment, but again, he wanted it that way. fine fine. the short 'poem' was mine. and if you zoom in, the 'red clouds' above got hidden caption. you need to wait till lahanat jebat available at book store to know whats written behind the clouds. hehe

the cover was done in a rush. you wouldnt believe how pushy some people can be. i admit, this wasnt one of my best work. it looks so amateurish. but of course, he told me thata frend told him that the cover looks every bit professional. gahhhhhhh.. the friend obviously dunno what he was talking about.

and there was this small logo, picture below. this looks simple eh? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY HOURS I SPENT ON ADOBE FIREWORKS TO GET THIS IMAGE RIGHT?

hehe.. but this tiny image is my favorite. you see, AT was so intent on having his e-book looks exactly like this. the original image is another ebook as well. AT made me clear the original cover and asked for his cover to be inserted instead. fyi, i never do any course on graphics or photoshop. not until i was pushed to do crash course using the 'hep files' on fireworks. imagine the burden he puts me through. and he has the nerve to be picky and give orders. gahhhhhh!!

oh, the flashy thing that scroll? the flash messages. did those too. but u cant see it at ATs blog. i think you can still view it at Bergs blogs. i thot making the small ecover above was tough, but wait til you try doing flashy images and scrolling text with masking here and there, with no experience beforehand. gahhhhhhh!!! and on top of your misery, you got someone like AT who kept ordering to change here, change that, make this bigger, change color etc.

im so glad its was finally over when the novel was published. hehe.. i didnt buy the ebook tho, for i have read it months before, back when i have to read word by words for every tiny spelling mistakes. and to realize that i sucks in bahasa melayu, to say the least.. gahhhh!

oh heck, back to work again i guess.
